Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov received in Astana today Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, at the conclusion of his two-day visit to Kazakhstan. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides in several fields, as well as the prospects for developing distinguished relations between the two countries, especially with regard to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers. The Minister of Hajj and Umrah conveyed the greetings of the wise leadership to the President, government and people of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and their wishes for continued progress and prosperity. He said that this visit comes as part of the continuous support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and their great efforts to serve Islam and Muslims. Dr. Al-Rabiah stressed the depth and strength of the historical relations between the two countries, within the framework of the strategic partnership between them at all levels and in various fields, noting that the bilateral relations between the two sides are witnessing continuous development and achieving positive and fruitful results with the support and follow-up of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
