His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister made today a phone call to President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation. At the outset of the telephone conversation, President Putin thanked HRH the Crown Prince for his active and distinguished contribution to the success of the prisoner swap. In turn, HRH the Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom's readiness to make all good offices and support all efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to the crisis. President Putin also hailed the Kingdom's accession - as a dialogue partner - to Shanghai Cooperation Organization, stressing the Organization members' aspiration for the Kingdom's active contribution to its work. Aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields were also discussed during the phone call.
