Saudi Electricity Company presented its innovative solutions as part of its strategic plan for digital transformation and benefit from artificial intelligence techniques, during its participation in the Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The company, as a strategic partner, set up a pavilion at the exhibition accompanying the summit, to highlight its achievements in providing innovative solutions supported by artificial intelligence techniques, aimed at automating monitoring and maintenance procedures and reducing the occurrence of potential risks to preserve lives and property. Harnessing the applications of artificial intelligence, the company used the technology of drone technology consisting of 4 image sensors and a digital camera to conduct inspections of the overhead lines of the transport network, which contributed to addressing previous difficulties. Misc technology provided smart maintenance centers with great support for maintenance teams in exchange for linking with the monitoring systems in all stations and allows access to data, remotely, without the need to dispatch technical teams on the ground to the site of reporting.
