Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh met today with Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan, on the sidelines of his participation in the Seventh Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which kicked off today with the participation of 100 delegations from 60 countries. The meeting discussed several issues of common interest, especially those related to coordination in the Islamic fields, spreading moderation, and exchanging experiences. During the meeting, the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar praised the leading role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving Muslims, and its keenness to serve the Two Holy Mosques, spread tolerance and promote a culture of dialogue and peaceful coexistence.
