Madinah, Feb 9, SPA -- Prince Meqrin Bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Madinah Region chaired here today a meeting of Al-Madinah's Hajj Committee. Prince Meqrin praised the success of Hajj this year and stressed that this period is the peak of Hajj season and the efforts should be continued to serve pilgrims. Also, he praised the performance of Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz airport and its services to the 89, 163 pilgrims who were taken back to their countries through 336 fights. The Secretary of the Hajj Committee, Waheeb Al-Shali, said that the committee reviewed reports by a number of bodies. He added that the number of those who came to Madinah totaled 523, 658 until yesterday morning and the number of those who departed through air, sea and land routes reached 240, 259.
