The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, killing and injuring a number of people. MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul-Karim Al-Issa, reiterated the League's position and the entire Islamic world, rejecting all forms of extremism, violence and terrorism, and the League's support for efforts to confront and eradicate these brutal ideas and crimes. He also stressed, on behalf of the MWL, and its international councils, bodies and councils, the full solidarity with dear Somalia in its war against terrorism, and against all that may threaten its security and stability, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Somalia as a whole, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
