King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday inaugurated the distribution of emergency food aid to the displaced and people affected by the torrential rains and floods in Shahn District, Al-Mahra Governorate, Yemen. The urgent intervention, which comes within the framework of the food security project, includes the distribution of 100 food baskets containing basic materials, benefiting 1,092 people. It is noteworthy that Al-Mahra Governorate and a number of southern and eastern governorates witnessed heavy rains a few days ago. The Center's urgent intervention in the relief of the displaced and people affected by torrential rains and floods in Yemen comes as part of its continuous efforts to stand with the Yemeni people in various crises and adversities.
