Russian oil company YUKOS on Monday said it has dismissed five banks from the legal dispute involving the sale of YUKOs' Yuganskneftegaz oil producing arm. YUKOS had said the five banks -- ABN AMRO, BNP Paribas, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Calyon and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein -- were part of a consortium of lenders behind a probable bid for Yugansk, which was auctioned off by Russian authorities in December. Lawyers for YUKOS dismissed the five banks after the banks said had no connection with the auction or the financing of the Yugansk sale.
