Quds city, Feb 7, SPA -- The Israeli military said it will open the key cargo crossing into the Gaza Strip later Monday, after several weeks of closure. The Karni crossing, Gaza's lifeline, was closed Jan. 13 after some Palestinian extremists attacked Israeli workers there, killing six. Since then, there has been a sharp drop in violence, and Palestinian security forces have deployed in the Gaza Strip.
