The State of Kuwait expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a resort in Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, in a statement, that this attack represents a flagrant violation of Iraq's sovereignty, international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and international norms and conventions, stressing Kuwait's solidarity with Iraq, supporting all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty. The ministry also offered the condolences of Kuwait to the Government and people of Iraq as well as to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
