Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, announced the success of pilgrims' descending from Arafat to Muzdalifah, which was characterized by the smooth movement of the crowds. He indicated that the plan of descending was carried out within four hours via the Al-Mashaer Train and frequent transport, and no accidents were recorded at security, traffic, and health levels. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal made it clear that 899,353 pilgrims were transported to Arafat, including 205 thousand pilgrims via the Al-Mashaer Train, and 699,348 pilgrims via 16 thousand buses, indicating that the pilgrims' journey is going with ease, praising the services provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to the pilgrims. The Governor of Makkah affirmed that all competent authorities are implementing their plans successfully.
