A total of 282,523 pilgrims from several nationalities have arrived in Madinah until yesterday, through air and land crossings to perform this year's Hajj. Statistics on arriving and departing pilgrims in Madinah, issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, showed that 227,420 pilgrims have arrived through the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah since receiving the first Hajj flights till yesterday night, while the land immigration center received 43,276 pilgrims who arrived in Madinah through land border crossings. The statistics also revealed the nationalities of pilgrims staying in Madinah, showing that Bangladeshi pilgrims are top residents of Madinah with 13,041, followed by Nigerians with 9,883, Indians with 8,676, Iranians with 6,330 and Pakistanis with 6,023 pilgrims. Statistics showed that 171,606 pilgrims left Madinah over the past few days on their way to the Holy Sites in Makkah, where the number of pilgrims staying in Madinah until yesterday totaled 95,194 pilgrims from various nationalities.
