King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded the day before yesterday (Friday) a voluntary medical anti-blindness campaign and the diseases that cause blindness in the city of Maradi in the Republic of Niger, in cooperation with the International Al-Basr Charitable Foundation. Since the start of the campaign, KSrelief's volunteer medical team has examined 6,236 beneficiaries, conducted 407 surgeries and distributed 1,000 eyeglasses and 5,272 therapeutic drugs. This campaign comes within the framework of relief and humanitarian projects related to the fight against blindness implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Center for a number of friendly countries.
