Head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Presidency team to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Donor Support Group and Assistant Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) for Planning and Development Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi yesterday participated in OCHA Donor Support Group meeting in Geneva. The meeting reviewed and discussed the final report of the Presidency of Netherlands of the donor group and preparations to hold the high-level meeting in The Hague to deliver the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the presidency of the group in late June, 2022. The Netherlands is the current president of the donor group whose terms ends in late June before the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia assumes the presidency between June 2022 and July 2023, where the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's team has prepared a comprehensive project in consultation with the donor group and Troika group, where they commended Saudi Arabia's plan that is considered a positive addition to support OCHA and address the challenges facing the coordination of humanitarian and relief aid across the globe.
