The Makkah Route Initiative continues works at the departure terminal at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to serve pilgrims in Indonesia through facilitating their travel procedures to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj for the 1443 Hijri year. The initiative received welcome and praise from pilgrims in Indonesia, commending what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia offers them of blesses efforts to serve pilgrims to enjoy tranquility and comfort while performing Hajj, in addition to keenness on providing the highest level of services since their arrival to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until they depart to their countries after completing rituals. The Makkah Route Initiative seeks to offer the highest level of services to pilgrims through completing their entry procedures to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from their respective countries' airports, where they are received upon arrival in Saudi Arabia at the special lounge of the initiative and they are transferred to their residencies without waiting at the airport.
