Herzegovina, Feb 1, SPA -- Bosnia's prime minister plans to submit a formal request for the release of six Bosnian citizens being held in the U.S. military detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, his spokesman said Tuesday. Adnan Terzic's move is a response to a protest held in Sarajevo on Monday by the six detainees' families and friends. Terzic made the decision after meeting with the detainee's relatives late Monday, his spokesman Bojan Zec Filipovic said. "We have launched the procedure. The request will be on the agenda of today's meeting of the Council of Ministers and if it is adopted, we will contact U.S. officials," Zec Filipovic said.
