Oman Welcomes Two-Month Renewal of Truce in Yemen

The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the announcement of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, to renew the truce in Yemen for additional two months.
In a statement today, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs appreciated the response of the Yemeni parties to the UN efforts, hoping that this important step would create appropriate conditions for ending the war and reaching a comprehensive and lasting settlement of the Yemeni crisis.
