OPEC's decision to leave production output unchanged and the passing of the Iraqi elections without major incident combined to push crude oil futures lower Monday. Analysts said that forecasts of more mild winter weather in the United States was adding to the downward pressure on prices. Light, sweet crude for March delivery fell 70 cents to US$46.48 a barrel in European electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. February heating oil was down by less than 0.5 cents to US$1.3170 per gallon. In London, Brent for March delivery fell US$1.05 to US$43.90 on the International Petroleum Exchange.
