U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met in Tokyo today with Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Hayashi Yoshimasa. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral alliance between the United States and Japan as the cornerstone of peace, security, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as the common interest between the two countries. They condemned North Korea's recent ballistic-missile launches which violate U.N. Security Council resolutions.
