A delegation from the Saudi-British Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council, headed by member of the council and chairman of the committee Dr. Ghazi bin Zager, has held a meeting here with Secretary of State at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Kwasi Kwarteng, in the presence of Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdullah, Supervisor General of the Saudi diplomatic mission in London. During the meeting, both sides discussed the Saudi-British relations in the fields of investment and energy, renewable energy, and green energy, in addition to means to develop these ties and increase joint action in these fields. The committee also held another meeting with the UK defense committee, during which they discussed several issues of mutual interest between the two countries and current regional situations. The members of the committee also participated in a joint symposium held at the headquarters of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce about the Shura Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where head of the committee reviewed the roles and tasks of the council. For her part, Hanan Al-Samari, member of the Shura Council, acquainted attendants with "Invest Saudi" Initiative that was launched by the Ministry of Investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, going over important investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and top goals of the initiative.
