King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated on Friday in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, Ramadan Food Baskets Distribution Project. The project aims to distribute 9,625 food baskets, each weighing 69,50 kilograms to benefit 51,400 people in a number of areas in Tajikistan. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Tajikistan Waleed bin Abdulrahman Alreshaidan, Secretary General of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan Bahodur Qurboniyon and a KSrelief's team. This project is a part of the "Eta'am" initiative for the year 2022, which aims to distribute 156,993 food baskets weighing 8,430 tons during the holy month of Ramadan, in 19 countries, benefiting 901,463 individuals. It also comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to support needy countries around the world.
