On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense patronized the graduation ceremony of the 35th batch of cadets from King Fahd Naval College and the 26th batch of the qualification course for university officers at the college headquarters in Jubail, in the presence of a number of ministers, senior officials and the parents of the cadets. Upon his arrival at the college headquarters, the Deputy Minister of Defense was received by the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili; the Deputy Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al-Gharibi and Eastern Region Commander Major General Saeed bin Abdurrahman Abu Assaf. Immediately after the arrival of the Deputy Minister of Defense, the royal anthem was played and verses from the Holy Quran were recited. Then, the Commander of King Fahd Naval College, Rear Admiral, Pilot Faisal bin Fahd Al-Ghufaili delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks for the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Defense for the graduation ceremony of 35th batch and the course for the qualification of university officers for 26th batch, pointing out that the college continues to achieve its vision as a pioneering and regionally distinguished college in the field of maritime and military sciences, and as a scientific reference for the armed forces in its field of specialization. He added that the college annually receives a number of cadets from fraternally and friendly countries, as this 35th batch included cadets from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Mauritania, the Republic of Djibouti, the Republic of Yemen and the Republic of Sudan. At the conclusion of the ceremony, memorial photos were taken, then the royal anthem was played.
