The United States last night said a political solution must be found to end the post-tsunami conflict ion Aceh, Indonesia. "We have a chance to give some meaning to that tragedy by moving to a better future, including particularly trying to move toward a political resolution of that problem in Aceh," said Wolfowitz. Following a declared ceasefire and the fluid arrival of international aid, the Indonesian Foreign Minister Hasan Wirayuda on Wednesday raised the possibility that talks between the government and separatist rebels in Indonesia could begin as early as this month. Wolfowitz has just returned from Indonesia and other tsunami-ravaged areas on the shores of the Indian Ocean.
