King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has responded swiftly to the damage caused by the torrential rains in the Yemeni governorate of Hodeidah by draining rainwater pools and swamps out of the streets and neighborhoods. The Director-General of Al-Khokha directorate in Hodeidah, Salem Alyan praised KSrelief's emergency response through direct and rapid interventions and work on draining rainwater pools and swamps from Al-Khokha streets and refugees camps, contributing significantly to reducing the spread of infectious diseases usually transmitted by mosquitoes and insects. This falls within the framework of the water supply and environmental sanitation projects being implemented in Yemen by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief in order to improve the living conditions of the Yemeni people as a whole.
