King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Sunday inaugurated the voluntary medical camp for plastic and burns surgeries and skin diseases at Seiyun General Hospital in Hadramout, Yemen, which is being held between March 19 and 26, 2022. The inauguration was in the presence of Hadramout Governorate Undersecretary for the Affairs of Al-Wadi and Sahra Districts Abdulhadi Al-Kathiri, Assistant Undersecretary Abdulhadi Al-Tamimi, Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr. Hani Al-Amoudi and Director of the Board of Seiyun General Hospital Dr. Anis Eidid. The voluntary medical team affiliated with KSrelief is composed of 10 consultative and specialist doctors in the fields of plastic and burns and skin diseases, where members of the team, over six days, will receive medical cases at the outpatient clinics that include sorting cases that need surgical interventions and conduct 75 free surgeries in cooperation with the medical and technical staff at Seiyun General Hospital, in addition to disbursing free medicines for skin diseases. Al-Kathiri voiced his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, for the humanitarian support offered to the Yemeni people in all fields, stressing that this camp is not the first to be held by KSrelief, and it was preceded by several camps that played a positive role in alleviating the health suffering of residents of the Wadi Hadramout and neighboring governorates. For his part, Dr. Al-Amoudi said that the KSrelief-funded camp aims at alleviating the travel burdens for Hadramout residents and neighboring governorates, especially that such surgeries are not conducted in Yemen and patients have to travel abroad. This camp is part of KSrelief's contributions in offering medical assistance necessary for patients and injured people in all the Yemeni governorates.
