President of South Sudan, General Salva Kiir Mayardit, received at the presidential palace today, the advisor at the Saudi Royal Court, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in all aspects to serve the aspirations of the two countries, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international events and issues of mutual interest. Advisor Qattan, during the meeting, conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and their wishes to the government and people of South Sudan for further progress and prosperity, while the President conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to HRH the Crown Prince, and the government and people of Saudi Arabia. The President expressed his country's support for the Kingdom's bid to host the Expo 2030 in Riyadh. Advisor Qattan, for his part, expressed the Saudi government's appreciation for this support, which emanates from the distinguished relations between the two countries. The meeting was attended by the Kingdom's Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan, Non-resident Ambassador to South Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jaafar.
