private partnership for improvement in the education sector has also been envisaged. The Asian Development Bank and DFID are also developing a programme to take care of technical assistance component of the ADB's Devolved Social Services Programme (DSSP) in Punjab, Ms Sultana said. The DSSP aims at strengthening devolved social services to achieve progress on poverty, gender, education, heath and water through delivery of more equitable, efficient, effective, and sustainable social services in line with Punjab's Local Government law.
