The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, has reiterated that the GCC stands by Iraq and supports its security and stability, based on the fact that Iraq's security is part of the security of the GCC countries. This came during his meeting with the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, today in Munich, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, held from February 18-20, with the participation of senior officials, ministers, heads of international organizations, to discuss the current international situation and the most prominent challenges and crises in the international arena. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation ties between the GCC and Iraq and aspects of their development, and discussed several issues of common interest, developing relations and enhancing security and stability.
