The Ministry of Commerce disclosed that the commercial registrations issued for the entertainment and arts sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have reached the biggest growth rate over six years (2015-2021) with 906%, where the ministry issued 2,847 commercial registers for the sector in 2021, while 2015 recorded only 283 commercial registers. The total registrations issued for the entertainment and arts sector reached 11,424 commercial registers distributed to all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This increase in the entertainment and arts sector is in realization of the objectives of 2030 Saudi Vision programs and the Quality of Life program that took care of improving the quality of life for individuals and families, creating job opportunities and diversifying economic activities, where the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia targets attracting investments with around USD 69 billion and providing more than 200,000 jobs in the sector by 2030.
