The Saudi National Team Football Team arrived here today in a preparation for the next match against Japan's team on Tuesday at Saitama Stadium, within the 8th round of the Asian Qualifiers to the World Cup 2022. The mission left yesterday Jeddah from King Abdulaziz International Airport. The mission was headed by Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), and Secretary General Ibrahim Al-Qasim. The Saudi team's mission implemented immediately examination of Covid-19, in accordance with special medical protocols applied in Japan. The examinations showed the safety of all mission's members. The national team kicked off today its training sessions in the presence and follow-up of the SAFF Chairman and Secretary General. In a statement, the SAFF Chairman affirmed the difficulty of the next game against of the Japanese team, pointing out the importance of exerting more efforts during the current period. Al-Misehal expressed the confidence of all the players, wishing them all success. Meanwhile, the Saudi players have conducted a training session today under a supervision of Herve Renard, manager of the Saudi national team, who carried out various exercises, while the team will hold tomorrow a closed training session.
