The Ministers of Finance and Economy of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC ) states held virtually the 115th extraordinary meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, chaired by the Minister of Finance, Chairman of the current session, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, and the participation of GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf, and several officials and specialists. During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the progress made on issues related to strengthening the financial and economic cooperation among the GCC states. Al-Jadaan reiterated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness, during its presidency, to redouble the efforts to complete the remaining steps to implement the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, regarding the promotion of the joint Gulf action, with the need to raise the pace of coordination among all GCC states to establish the customs union and implement the tracks of the Gulf common market, leading to the economic unity by 2025.
