Indonesia's military chief made a fresh cease-fire offer Tuesday to rebels in the country's tsunami-stricken Aceh province and appealed to the separatist fighters to join the massive relief effort. "For the time being, we are making this offer," Gen. Endriartono Sutarto told a press conference in the provincial capital Banda Aceh. "We have to work together to help Aceh." In an interview with The Associated Press on Monday, Sutarto said he had ordered his troops to cease offensive operations against the rebels.
