The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRA) has concluded its participation in the Fourth Arab Ministerial Forum for Housing and Urban Development hosted by Jordan, under the patronage of Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh. The forum, which was held during December 14 -16, came in conjunction with the 38th session of the high-level Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction, and an exhibition of housing projects, distinctive urban development, construction materials and innovative technologies in the field of construction which was organized on the sidelines of the conference. The forum aims to shed light on how to build the capacity of Arab cities to withstand climate change and the risks of disasters and epidemics, keep pace with the increasing demand for basic services and infrastructure, provide job opportunities and obtain adequate and affordable housing, and discuss and present new Arab visions towards urban development characterized by safety, justice, resilience and sustainability.
