A drawing exhibition under the them (Draw Your Dream) is kicked off in Aden yesterday, with the support of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) and partnership of UN Women and Women Charity Organization to Combat Poverty in Aden, as part of the 16-day campaign of activities against gender-based violence, which is annually celebrated by the world to combat violence against women. The exhibition saw the participation of 17 female painters through drawings that express the pivotal role of women in societies, while the names of winning female painters were announced by a specialized committee from the University of Aden. These efforts are part of a project to protect and empower women and young girls affected by gender-based violence in Yemen, which is implemented by KSrelief in partnership with UN Women and support the international ongoing response to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, especially with the influence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
