The International Exhibition for Dates will kick off in Riyadh on Thursday, 16 December, 2021, with the participation of local and international producers and farmers of dates. The five-day exhibition will be held under the supervision of the National Center for Palms and Dates at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition is the largest annual gathering of producers and consumers of dates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the world. It aims to raise the market value of Saudi dates and contribute to making Saudi Arabia the first exporter of dates in the world. The exhibition will include several accompanying activities, such as workshops, presentations, and educational events. As many as 43 local and international institutions and companies will take part in the exhibition, alongside four producing countries. It will also showcase experiences and electronic platforms within the center's initiatives aiming to employ artificial intelligence in enhancing the role of marketing, research, studies and scientific experiments towards palm trees.
