Kuwait has expressed its condemnation in the strongest terms, the continued attempts of the Houthi militia to threaten the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by targeting the city of Khamis Mushait with a ballistic missile. In a statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the continuation of these aggressive practices and the escalation they are witnessing targeting civilians, civilian areas, the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the stability of the region constitutes a flagrant violation of the rules of international and humanitarian law and requires the international community to move quickly and decisively to deter these threats and hold the perpetrators accountable. The ministry concluded its statement by affirming Kuwait's full support for the Kingdom in all the measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty.
