King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Ma'rib Governorate, Yemen launched on Monday a food security project for the year 2021-2022. The project targets displaced and affected families in five Yemeni governorates. The project, which is being implemented in 6 phases, allocated 5,600 food baskets in Marib in one phase, within the framework of distributing 93,942 food baskets, benefiting in each phase 15,607 beneficiaries in the targeted governorates. The Undersecretary of Ma'rib Governorate, Dr. Abd Rabbo Muftah, expressed his deep thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continuous humanitarian efforts in Yemen, stressing that this project will contribute to alleviating the suffering of the displaced and needy in Marib. The project comes within the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to stand by Yemeni people.
