The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad received here today the Ambassador of the Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom, Packeer Mohideen Amza. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of common interest, and the existing development projects being submitted by the Kingdom's government through SFD, which aim to contribute to achieving sustainable development in the Republic of Sri Lanka. For his part, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka valued the efforts being made by the Kingdom's government through the Fund to support friendly countries through development projects. It is worth mentioning that the Fund provided 15 development loans in the Republic of Sri Lanka with the aim of financing a number of projects in the water, health, energy, transport and education sectors.
