Pakistan affirmed its support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's initiative to convene an Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers to discuss the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in a statement today that his country supports the Kingdom's initiative, as the current OIC Summit Chair, expressing his confidence that the member states of the organization will agree to Pakistan's offer to host this extraordinary session in Islamabad on December 17, 2021,.
