The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Islamic Sheikhdom of Croatia to boost ties between the two countries to spread the moderate Islam approach. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh said the MOU also aims at promoting a culture of tolerance and dialogue, expressing appreciation to the Croatian side for its interest in signing MOU. For his part, Sheikh Aziz Hasanovic, Head of the Islamic Sheikhdom and the Grand Mufti of Croatia Sheikh Aziz Hasanovic, expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their keenness on the Muslims of Croatia, adding that the signing of the MOU will open prospects for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. In turn, the Minister of Culture, President of the Committee for relations with the religious communities, Dr. Nina Obuljen, said the agreement with the Kingdom, which represents a source of tolerance, will enhance cooperation in areas that serve the Croatian Muslims and serve the humanity.
