In the meeting, they discussed support for the current efforts of the UN Special Envoy and the need for a political solution under UN auspices, as well as support for the legitimate government. They condemned the Houthi cross-border attacks against Saudi Arabia. They stressed the need for de-escalation, including an immediate end to the escalation in Marib. All Yemeni parties should engage in genuine dialogue in order to reach comprehensive political solution to end the crisis in Yemen and alleviate the humanitarian suffering of its people.
