The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Cameroon signed a general agreement for cooperation, which includes encouraging cooperation between the two countries in the economic, commercial, investment, educational, artistic, cultural, media, tourism, youth and sports fields. This agreement opens horizons for inking bilateral agreements in various fields between the two countries. The agreement, which was co-signed by Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Minister of State for African Affairs, and Felix Embaio, Delegate Minister to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Commonwealth of Cameroon, stems from the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to develop foreign relations with the governments of countries and peoples of the world and a desire to strengthen the bonds of friendship as well as historical ties and common interests.
