Iran's President Mohammad Khatami received here today the Saudi media delegation currently on a visit to Iran. During the meeting, the president stressed strong relations between the two countries, noting that these relations have been developed on a firm basis of mutual confidence and enhancement of action between the two countries, region's states and the Muslim world. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Iran Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al-Braik who conveyed the greetings of the Kingdom's leadership to the Iranian president. In turn, President Khatami sent his greetings to the Saudi leadership. The delegation includes Editor-in-Chief of Yamamah Magazine and the Secretary General of Saudi Journalists Association Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Jahlan; Editor-in-Chief of Iqtisadiyyah Newspaper Abdulwahab bin Mohammed Al-Fayiz; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Okaz Newspaper Dr. Saeed Musleh Al-Suraihi; and Director General of News Department at the Saudi Press Agency Abdulaziz bin Saad Al-Ghamdi.
