The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militias' attempts to attack Abha International Airport, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a bomb-laden drone that was intercepted by the Coalition Forces. In a statement issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the UAE affirmed that targeting the airport is a dangerous escalation and a cowardly act that threatens the security, safety and lives of civilians and passengers. The ministry renewed the UAE's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia over these terrorist attacks and reiterated its firm position against all threats to the Kingdom's security and stability. The UAE also voiced support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to maintain the safety and security of its citizens and residents. The statement confirmed that the security of the UAE and that of Saudi Arabia are indivisible and that any threat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered a threat to the security and stability of the UAE.
