Pakistan has extradited two suspected Turkish militants alleged to have ties to al-Qaida to Turkey, news reports said Saturday. Television footage showed two bearded men being taken from an airplane by Turkish police. The Turks, identified as Mehmet Yilmaz and Mahmut Kaplan, were brought Friday to Gaziantep, a city in southeastern Turkey, the semiofficial Anatolia news agency reported. The two had gone to Pakistan two years before, and were accused of trying to win followers for an illegal group in Gaziantep, Anatolia said. It was not clear what charges they faced.
