King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain arrived here today on a visit to the kingdom. Later here today, Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, in the Eastern Region to open a number of developmental projects, held a meeting with the king. During the meeting, they discussed the latest regional developments including the Palestinian cause and the situation in Iraq. They also reviewed decisions and results reached by the recent Gulf Cooperation Council summit in Bahrain. They also reviewed the current Arab, Islamic and international developments, prospects for cooperation between the two countries and ways of boosting it in all fields. The king of Bahrain expressed appreciation for the Saudi role in serving and supporting the GCC, Arab and Islamic causes.
