Quds city, Dec 27, SPA -- Israel began releasing Monday 159
Palestinian prisoners as part of a prisoner swap with Egypt
and in a gesture to the new Palestinian leadership.
The prisoners were released from a military prison in
southern Israel early Monday and loaded onto buses. The
prisoners were to be taken to three areas in the West Bank
and the main Israel-Gaza crossing point.
