Crown Prince to grace opening of SR 578 million Water pipeline project in Eastern Reg

Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, will patronize a ceremony due to be organized by the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) on the occasion of the start of transportation project of the desalinated water to Hassa and Bogaig.
Minister of Water and Electricity and Chairman of SWCC Eng. Abdullah Al-Hussein said the length of the pipeline for Hassa amounts to 133 kilometers with a diameter of 1, 422 millimeters.
On the other hand, the length of the pipeline for Bogaig covers eight kilometers with a diameter of 600 millimeters.
The project is implemented at a total cost of SR 578 million.
