Commander of Bahrain's Royal National Guards Major General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Isa, has met Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and discussed matters relating to Pak-Bahrain relations, an official statement said. The prime minister said that the relations between Pakistan and Bahrain are deep-rooted, warm and ever-lasting. He said Pak-Bahrain security interests were "inter-twined." The statement said that both the countries believe that it is only through peace and security that the process of development could be speeded up and the standard of living of the two peoples could be raised. The prime minister expressed the hope that the relations between the two countries would be strengthened further in days to come. On his part, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Isa said that there are many Pakistanis working in Bahrain and contributing significantly towards its socio-economic development. He said cooperation between the two countries is broad-based and covers a wide-range of areas. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Isa said that all GCC countries look up towards Pakistan as an "anther of peace and stability and region." He also lauded the economic development made by Pakistan recently.
