Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Lt. Gen. Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili received here today at the headquarters of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), the Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Hamad bin Mohammed Thani Al-Rumaithi and the accompanying delegation. Lt. Gen. Al-Rumaithi was briefed on the IMCTC's efforts to combat terrorism in the intellectual, media, combating terrorist financing and the military fields as well as the role it plays to coordinate and intensify the efforts of the IMCTC member states. During the meeting, they reviewed ways of the joint cooperation between the IMCTC and the UAE in issues of common interest. Acting Secretary General of IMCTC, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Maghidi stressed the great and leading role of the UAE in combating terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and fields.
